Description
These two durable Viton O-rings are not included in the Beisan Systems Vanos seal kit for the S50B30 Vanos:
1x Viton O-ring around the pump body (larger)
1x Viton O-ring on the housing bottom under the oil pump (smaller)
It is recommended to remove and disassemble the oil pump. Sometimes broken springs are found in the high-pressure pistons, which then prevents the pump from functioning correctly (each broken spring reduces the flow rate by 20%)! We also offer replacement springs for the pump pistons in this case.
The O-rings are usually aged and deformed. The pump can be removed by striking the housing upside down against a block of wood. The pump body will then slide out.
Caution: The black plastic support ring on the bottom of the housing is very hard and breaks easily!
